Over a month

With over a month until the start of the NBA season there is hope.

1. Every team but the Blazers could get West Nile Virus.
2. All the best players in the league could announce their retirement.
3. The season could be delayed for two years so we have more time to practice.
4. 13 guys in black, red, and white could decide they are simply going to win a title this year.

The first three are not probable, likely, or preferred.

I would love to see option 4, not just as a fan, but to see the true medal of our team.

  1. This got a laugh out of me. And then I got sad...
    As amazing as it would be, I think the most we can hope for is just a playoff appearance. The West is ridiculously deep, and making it into the playoffs won't be easy. Then again, Lillard seems like the kind of guy who could rise above even our lofty expectations and do something truly remarkable.
    Who knows?
