What's going on?

By mbmurr1
Today is the 11th we have not signed our draft picks, we have not signed a single player, we have not signed a coach. Someone up in the office had better get on the ball soon or all free agents will be signed by other teams. At the very least we should try to sign Hickson offer him 3-4 million a year for 5 years and make him make a choice, Nate Robinson offer 3 million a year for 2 years to mentor Lillard, Przybilla 32, Craig Brakins 24, Jonny Flynn 23, Chris Johnson 26, Daniel Orton 21 could all be had cheap and would be great 6foul guys at the very least. Then we should look to make some trades for future draft picks like Houston is doing. But sitting around with "chocolate thumbs" pisses fans off. I realize fans cannot be kept in the loop of everything being done, but at least do something (like sign our draft picks or make a small signing) so we can keep faith in a management team that has not shown us anything yet. True fans will support the team no matter what, but a little hope is encouraging.

  1. Lillard signed his contract before practice today. And Victor Claver has also been introduced. They are also working on getting Freeland here. We will potentially have four first draft picks playing there first NBA season with us this year. Thats a pretty good start.

  2. Your right. I'm just being impatient. The problem is more with a lack of press. When a move is made is should be announced right away, for the sake of fans who are interested.

  4. @Mbmurr, the contract process takes time. Can't officially announce anything until all the formalities are completed.
