"My patience is not high,” Love said. “Would yours be, especially when I’m a big proponent of greatness surrounding itself with greatness? … It’s tough seeing all these guys that are young and older who have all played in the playoffs. When they start talking about that, I have nothing to talk about. If I don’t make the playoffs next year I don’t know what will happen.”

“I would say it’s coming down to it for sure [next season]. It’s no secret I was willing to commit to Minnesota for five years. I’m very happy with my contract. I’d love to be in Minnesota. But like anybody else, I want to win.”

    - Kevin Love via interview with SI.com

We though we had issues with Batum, and trying to decifer exactly how he feels, and what is agent posturing.  We'll make room for you here in Portland Love.  Who needs a center when you have the 2 best power forwards in basketball?

I love that the article you linked mentions that "Batum would rather be in Minnesota"... here in Portland, we know that opinion came from Batum's agent Ndaiye, not Nico himself, but it sickens me to think that everyone else in the NBA is gonna think the Blazers are holding on to Nico against his will.

I hate politicking and smokescreens. This kind of garbage has no place in basketball.

Love would not even be traded straight up for LA right now.

Batum's issue with Porlland is that Minnesota will pay him more $. The rest is agent speak. If we match and end up with him he will "Love Portland very very much" all the way to the bank.

As long as we have Victor Claver on our team we can do anything. (That was a bad joke)

Thank you, Knorton. Now more rebuilding or anything. No rookie nonsense. Get a solid Defensive big. Trade every single pick to get it.

Not sold on Muhammad. His offence isn''t really that great. Oladipo would be great, but I would trade it all for a defensive big.

I don''t trust big men with a history of injury. Ibaka also weighs more than Noel, but you''re right, early days yet, he could bulk up. I am sure, that he will lose some of his speed and athleticism when he does though. Wasn''t that one of his bes...
