I think that if we could have it at The Game or Schonley's Place that would be great. They're on location, it's Blazer central, they just seem like the right places to have it.

This has not been near the success on here as I thought it would be. I will give it another couple days, but due to time constraints, I may just have to make it as far out as I can and maybe use it as a build up to that game on the 14th of October. I have forwarded our idea onto Blazers event staff and hope to hear back from them soon. I have not given them a date, just our idea. Lets get some support from the fans so the organization can adopt us! Rip City WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?!

RCR, don't get discouraged. It is a pretty dead time in Trail Blazers news, so traffic in general will be down this time of year. As we get closer to October, more fans will be here and will want to help plan.

I don't even know what blazerchanters are?  Are they the "chanting" version of blazerdancers?  Help me out here RCR.

For those of you who are somewhat new to the site, or aren't on very often, Blazer Chanters is a group on this website that was established to electrify the the crowd at the Rose Garden. We want to organize new chants and songs to use during games. If we can get 20,000 people chanting together at everygame and not just against the Lakers, it would be an amazing season. Blazer Chanters was inspired by the fans of the English Premiere Football League (Soccor). Now it is a family friendly group, but please feel free to check it out, join, and invite your friends to join in and participate if it is something you would believe in as well. We have some great ones lined up for this year and we hope it will catch on. The more members, the better.

It looks like the traffic is starting to pick up on the website, that's great! Blazer Chanters, be sure to take part in the poll and give your input. If you aren't a part of the Blazer Chanters group yet check it out. The more we have show up at the event, the more successful it will be. Let's get the RG rockin' this year!

So here is what it has come down to. I will be hitting up the Cooler on the 9th, I will also be at FanFest on the 4th. I will try and get a pamplet made up that has a few of the new chants and songs in it and hopefully we can get them into the right hands. Blazers management hasn't returned my e-mail and I am running out of time so hopefully, between the 4th, 9th and 14th, we will be able to get this ball rolling in the right direction. Please feel free to hit me up if you see me at the Garden either night, or join me for a drink at the Cooler and be sure to leave a nice tip for BlazerGurl while we're there. I hope to see you all around.

I need to retract part of that statement. I will not be at The Cooler because I just found out that it is clear in Eugene. But if you happen to be in Eugene be sure to still say "hi" to BlazerGurl. On the 9th of October, I will be at The Agency. Feel free to find me. Hope to see you all around!

    Bump

Did you guys ever get this meeting going? I love the idea of getting the RG in sync..I mean if we can rock the wave multiple times, then we can chant in unison.

If nobody can decide on a meeting time, would anyone oblige to an online meeting time that could maybe be more convenient? The Garden is already one of the best home court advantages, but we need to make it hands-down the best.
Sure, we all know "Beat LA", but it would be awesome to get more of a college-style environment and it all starts here.

    What do you think?

I tried to but to no avail. I would love to get everyone together, Superfan shot down the whole Blazer Chanters idea and nobody has been active since other than me. Maybe we can get this thing going again.

I sit in section 329 and there is a guy about 3-4 sections to my right who seems to always gets some chants going. I will see about a ways to tracking him down, getting him on here, if not already, and getting this thing up and rolling.

if we get no.1 pick, i would trade that pick for omer asik and that all. the rockets would probably use that pick for a trade with the lakers since lakers need to get younger
